Message From the President
Welcome to the website of the Trojan Knights. Founded in 1921 by Harry Kennedy, Harry Pryor, and Lindley Bothwell, the Trojan Knights serve as the official hosts and guardians of tradition at the University of Southern California. The Trojan Knights have a long and storied history at USC, and have helped start many of the university’s strongest traditions. These include the Victory bell trophy shared with UCLA, card stunts, our current mascot Traveler, our school’s original mascot George Tirebiter, and many more. We have also been highly active in service activities acting as participants in songfest, organizers of Swim-with-Mike, and several of our own signature philanthropies including the Tirebiter Run, and our annual pumpkin carving with the 32nd Street elementary school.
Here on our site you will find all sorts of information about the Knights. The “History” section of the website can provide you with some more detailed information on the history of the Knights, as well as some of USC’s many traditions. Under the “Who We Are” section you can find a description of our modern day activities, and each of our three organizational pillars: Spirit, Brotherhood, and Philanthropy. On the site you can also learn about the rush process and how to join the Trojan Knights. Additionally, our alumni page is available for past Knights or those interested in our storied alumni. Please feel free to reach out to myself, or any of our executive board members if you have any questions or want to work with the Trojan Knights.
